Lancaster Insulation Trapezoidal Acoustic Roof Inserts are precision-cut semi-rigid mineral fibre slabs designed in trapezoidal sections to perfectly fit within the profile of perforated metal roof panels. Engineered for superior acoustic performance, these inserts reduce noise levels and reverberation in large interior spaces by absorbing sound energy passing through the perforated surfaces. Supplied in 1200mm lengths, they are available in a wide range of densities (45–120 kg/m³) to optimise both acoustic and thermal performance.
Options include a durable white or black glass tissue finish, or additional Mylar polyester film sleeving for enhanced humidity and moisture resistance.
Installation Guidelines
Place inserts directly into the recesses of the corrugated or trapezoidal metal panels, ensuring a flush upper surface for contact with any overlay materials. The lightweight yet semi-rigid construction allows rapid fitting without mechanical fixings in most applications.
