Within our Lancaster Manufacturing facility we have a full conversion & tailoring division dedicated to converting our own manufactured Basalt mineral mattress along with converting and facing a range of other Rock and Glass fibre mineral wool rolls mats and slab products.

Applications / Options and Solutions

Whatever the requirement should it be Thermal, Acoustic, Fire. Or simply to improve speed of install on site with fibre free handling. We have a full range of single face, Dual face or fully encapsulated options to suit any requirement and application.

1. Firstly, select your core material thickness and density

Glass Fibre Felt (Option 1) Physical Characteristics

Density Range: 24kg/m3 32kg/m3 48kg/m3 96kg/m3 And 110 kg/m3
Thickness from: 25mm to 250mm
Resin Binder Content: 1.5 +/-0.2%
Resin breakdown temperature: 250’C
Fire Resistance: Euroclass A1
Face options: (Class 0 foil) or white & black tissue

Rock Fibre Felt (Option 2) Physical Characteristics

Density Range: 32kg/m3 45 kg/m3 60 kg/m3 100kg/m3 128 kg/m3 140kg/m3 and 160 kg/m3
Thickness from: 20mm to 200mm
Resin Binder content: <1%
Resin Break down temperature: 250 ‘C
Fire Resistance: Euroclass A1
Face options: (Class 0 foil) or white & black tissue

2. Secondly select Facing and Encapsulation options from listing below

Black and white Spunbonded tissue faced scrim
Black and White Glass fibre tissue in variety of weights
Kraft paper finish
Glass fabrics in a range of styles and weights

All of the above listing can be faced on one or two sides or fully encapsulate the base core felt/mat or slab.

3. Finally select the size or shape of the faced slab felt or roll to be cut to

Slotted or Die cut to requirement
