Product Description

Lancaster Cold Water Tank Jackets are high-performance insulation solutions designed to protect cold water storage tanks from heat loss, frost damage, and condensation.

Each jacket is supplied as a two-piece set: a flexible wraparound side section and a separate lid panel. Both sections are constructed from a non-combustible, lightly-bonded glass fibre blanket core, fully enclosed in a seam-welded plastic outer cover for durability and moisture resistance. The lid incorporates a lightweight plastic stiffener to prevent sagging.

Installation is quick and secure using the provided fixing tapes, ensuring a snug fit. These jackets meet the requirements of Water Byelaw 30 and BS 7181:1989 and are highly resistant to vermin and the effects of condensation.

Installation Guidelines

Ensure the cold water tank is clean and dry before installation. Wrap the side section around the tank and secure using the supplied fixing tapes. Position the lid section on top, ensuring full coverage without gaps. Do not insulate the underside of the tank.

Applications

Storage & Handling

Store in a dry location, protected from direct sunlight and sources of heat. Avoid compressing the product for prolonged periods to maintain insulation performance.
